Belskiy & Partners Successfully Defends the Reputation of a Senior Executive of a Federal Media Holding

The dispute resolution team of Belskiy & Partners, led by Junior Partner Konstantin Shorygin, has successfully represented a senior executive of a major federal media holding in a defamation and reputation protection dispute.

The court found that statements publicly disseminated by a public figure were defamatory, damaging to the claimant’s reputation, and offensive in nature. As a result, the client’s claims were upheld in full.

The court ordered the defendant to remove the offending materials and publish a retraction of the false statements. In addition, the claimant was awarded compensation for moral damages.
