On December 20, 2022, Forbes published the results of “Forbes Club Legal Ranking for 2022", the study of the best Russian law firms practicing in the field of protecting the interests of HNWI.

The key criteria for including a company in this category are successfully implemented projects to protect those accused of economic crimes, criminal legal protection in corporate conflicts, tax crimes, business protection in case of unjustified interference by law enforcement agencies, protection against fraud, representation of witnesses and victims in criminal cases, etc.

About the study

The Forbes Club Legal Ranking study is a journalistic project aimed at compiling a list of reliable legal consultants who can apply to HNWI for protection of interests in a difficult life or business situation, who provide exceptional expertise in compliance with high standards of ethics and quality of service provision.

The authors of the study analyzed over 3,500 projects in 27 nominations. In addition, the experience, achievements, the company's international relations and offices, the completeness of the services provided, cooperation with leading banks, detective and law enforcement agencies, participation in precedent projects, the presence of large and well-known clients, positions in Russian and international ratings of law firms were evaluated.
The key indicators for evaluating the projects of law firms were: commercial effect and special importance for the client's business, personally for the client; efficiency and timeliness of assistance, special complexity of the project; complexity of the tasks set, the presence of an international element in the project, the amount and scale of the project.

The "Leaders" category included law firms that scored the highest number of points according to the evaluation indicators of the study for the uniqueness, special complexity and effectiveness of project work, having in their portfolio the largest projects in terms of transactions, disputes or claims of regulatory authorities, serving well-known clients, including individuals from the Forbes list. In terms of the number of evaluation points scored, companies in this category had a serious gap from their closest competitors.
