Lawyer and junior partner at “Belskiy and partners”, Kristina Malekina, provides legal assistance to the former deputy CEO of The State Budget Institution of Culture “Mosconcert” in criminal proceedings.

In 2023, investigative actions were conducted in the structures of the Government of Moscow, as a result of which the trustee was the subject of proceedings the case of large-scale bribery. According to the investigation, the trustee was given bribes by his employees as part of their salary to provide general patronage while on duty (para. «в» p. 5 art.290 CC), he had the potential to spend up to 12 years in prison and a fine of up to 4 million rubles.

The Investigative Committee was able to reclassify the charge as an abuse of authority under p.1 art. 285 CC thanks to the efforts of lawyers. The result was achieved thanks to the lawyers' ability to prove that all the money transferred was meant for Mosconcert. Furthermore, it was proven that the trustee's actions were not motivated by selfish intent.

After the court proceedings, the trustee was fined 60,000 rubles and prohibited from holding leadership positions.
